Birmingham Organizational Psychologist McDonald Graham, Psychology at Work
HUMAN AT WORK®
At McDonald Graham, we know that authenticity is the essential foundation of good leadership. What makes us human - empathy, connection, our drive to accomplish something meaningful, our courage to innovate and capacity to learn from our mistakes - is also what makes us successful at work and in life. We know that understanding yourself and making decisions that are aligned with your core beliefs and values makes you more effective as an employee, a leader…and a human. All of the work we do, whether it is executive coaching, personal coaching, or group coaching, is rooted in our philosophy that we are Human At Work®.
Our Human At Work® philosophy informs all of our services at McDonald Graham. Whether we are partnering with a client in a coaching relationship or delivering our flagship program Transforming Success®, we seek to understand our clients as whole humans who exist within organizational, family, and community systems that shape and affect them. We know that understanding yourself and making decisions that are aligned with your core beliefs and values makes you more effective as an employee, leader...and a human.
Our consulting process always includes an assessment phase. We want to fully understand our clients’ goals and challenges as well as the systems that surround them. We believe our role as consultants is to engineer a process that will teach our clients to address challenges, seize opportunities, and capitalize on chances to learn going forward. They will gain new skills, develop new capabilities, and be empowered to leverage these new capacities to achieve lasting change.
We only recommend coaching services that we believe are essential to meeting your goals. We take great pride in our reputations as honest practitioners who will start with the smallest, most affordable solution to meet your needs. And we will tell you if we think we aren’t the right consultants to meet your needs. Of course, we hope we will be able to help you, and we will always work hard to exceed your expectations.
